Ignored fade animation with GPU rendering

Hello,

In my scenario I use multiple fade animations. fades to 0% and 80%.

If I render this animaite with GPU these fades are simply ignored.

(In still images these fades are rendered).

As this is a part of a product launch where there are two different models, one has to be able to fade away.

As these images are for a product that has yet to be launched I can't share the keyshot files.

I hope someone can help me because after a long search I can't find any solution.

Thanks

Hello Kamiel,

There are some limitations with GPU rendering and Fade animation.
If your scene has any cutaway material in it this will cause issues with the fade animation and it will be disregarded.
If this is not the case this will be tough one to diagnose not being able to see the scene.
If the animation is specifically disregarding this again it could be a limitation with GPU and the scene that has been made.

Hi Justin,

Thank you for the quick response.

There are no cutaway materials in the scene.

May I make you aware that this is a product that is not yet available on the market and is therefore confidential.

Can I send you the scene in a confidential way?

I have already realized some GPU animations where there was no problem with fade animations. Because of this, I am confused.

Thanks for all your help.

We can sign an NDA if you would like, most companies will go that route.

You can send it direct to Justin@Luxion.com if you would like.
