The M1 Chip is compatible, but will require the use of the Rosetta 2. This can some times cause a bit of lag since it is not reading the cores Natively.
We are still working on this issue but the lag should now be at a minimum.
While we have not yet given it a thorough testing, most of the changes made to macOS 11 are with the user interface. Initial testing shows that there should be no problems and is compatible with KeyShot 9.
I hope this answered your question. If there is anything else we can assist you with, please let me know.

What about Macs with the new Apple Silicon processors? Is it Universal Binary or running Rosetta 2 ?

Hello Dan,
Thank you for contacting Luxion.
Unfortunately the new Mac M1 is not supported on KeyShot due to some incompatibility with the Denoiser and other features.
We are looking into these issues now but do not expect it to be solved in the next release.

Does this mean not at all or only via the Rosetta 2 ? If not at all, it's really really bad.

Unfortunately not at all, even with Rosetta 2.
We are doing what we can to solve the issue, but it may take some time before a solution is found.

Hello Philip,
KeyShot 10 and future releases now support Big Sur and the M1 processors.
Unfortunately older versions of KeyShot will not be compatible.

Thanks Eric! Is this native support for M1 processors or through Rosetta 2?
