KS10 not remembering UI size

When I open KS10, it doesn't quite fill my monitor screen (see pic), and no matter what I do, I can't get it to remember the proper size – even when I edit the workspaces. Any ideas?

Hello Steve,

I would try a few things:

first make sure use high DPI is checked under Edit/preferences/interface, if not check this and restart KeyShot.
If the first option doesn't work Delete the settings.xml and this will reset KeyShot back to its default settings:

Macintosh Instructions:
1. Click on Go on finder bar then click on Computer
2. Open Macintosh HD
3. Open Library folder
4. Open Application Support folder
5. Open KeyShot # folder
6. Look for KS#Settigns.xml file and delete that file

Lastly performing a complete fresh installation would be the next step:
Please try a fresh install using the full installer:

How to perform a fresh install:

  1. Uninstall KeyShot
  2. Make sure to delete the KeyShotresources folder
    • note: move it to the desktop if you wish to back up your resources
    • Windows Default:
      • C:\Users\UserName\Documents\KeyShot or
      • C:\Users\Public\Documents\KeyShot
      • Delete C:\ProgramData\Luxion\KeyShot 9 folder
      • Delete C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Luxion\KeyShot 9 folder
    • Mac Default:
      • /Library/Application Support/KeyShot
  3. Download and Re-install KeyShot using the links below.
For this step, you’ll need the full installer(not the update installer).
    • You can find the newest version of KeyShot here.
    • You can find older versions of KeyShot here.
  4. Go through the registration wizard, enter your license information, and KeyShot should be up and running.
Please let me know how this works for you.

Let me know if that worked for you?

Great, yes removing the .xml file has done the trick, thanks!
