Denoise + XR

I am trying to run an XR with a Basic image style that has Denoise enabled, but the final output of the XR is not denoised. Does Denoise not work with XRs? When I upgrade to 10, will the firefly removal work with XRs?

Win 10 pro, KS 9.3 pro floating (with license borrowed), CPU mode, max samples.

Hello Eric,

After some testing, denoise in XR is working in the KeyShot 10.2 release.

If you wish to test this, you can download the KeyShot 10.2 BETA at https://betasupport.keyshot.com/support/discussions/topics/60000406329.

Denoise should be applied to XR renders by default and through the Render Queue.

Thank you for your patience while we worked to solve this issue.

Let me know if that is not the case.

Hello Eric,

Thank you for contacting Luxion.
I have checked with the development team on this and they have confirmed
XR output will use Denoise and Firefly removal in the latest build.

Justin - I just recently needed to use XR with denoise again, but the output does not appear to have had the denoise applied to the frames. Is there a specific method I should be using to ensure the denoise is applied to the output? Right now I just have an image style with my desired denoise amount active when I run the XR wizard and add to the queue.

Now running KS 10.1.80.

Update: Because I hadn't heard back I made one last attempt at this. Instead of adding the XR to the queue, I rendered it directly and it worked. So, this seems to be a bug where the denoise doesn't work when and XR is added to the queue and processed.

Update 2: This issue still seems to be occurring in 10.1.82.

Thank you for letting me know Erik! I appreciate it. I will have to wait for the full release of 10.2 to test this out.
