HI, I have a complex model that I want to cut through. So I pushed a cube over it and applied the cutaway material. However, the model is not cut cleanly. A kind of shadow remains from some parts.

If I choose a cutaway material with caps, the shadows are the color of the caps. If I choose the material without caps, the shadows are gone and everything is fine.

Does anyone know that and can tell me how to get rid of this?

no. But I found out that my model wasn't accurate. So I could delete the surfaces that made problems and everything was fine.
