Feature Suggestion

Hi,

I was thinking it might be cool to have a "Consolidate Project" button. As someone who uses their own asset library a lot for textures and such, it would be cool if when you're done with a project, you could run a script that would collect all your external resources copy and relink them in a project directory.  That way you can offline them to an archive that holds everything necessary to revisit the project without having to hunt down and do all your texture relinking by hand. Just a thought.

Hello Michael,

Thank you for contacting Luxion Denmark Support.
And thank you for the suggestion!
We are making a major push with the scripting platform, allowing for more automation of processes. This would be a good addition to the platform.
I have forwarded the suggestion to our developers, who will see if this is something we would like to add to the platform in a future release.

Thank you again for the feedback.
If you have any more thoughts or improvements to KeyShot, please don't hesitate to let us know.

If you create a material template with the option "automatic ...", you'll get a collection of all mtl files and the external references in the material template folder to copy them to your project folder.

You can save a package (ksp) and open this via 7-zip to extract every file (except the bip file) to your project folder.
