Fan noise (GPU & CPU) vs other renders

Hello,

when I work in Keyshot I have a lot of fan noise, both CPU or GPU, I don't seem to have this behaviour in other comparable renders (V-Ray in C4D, Maverick, Redshift etc) as if Kesyhot pushes the CPU and GPU to it's extremes, am I alone on this and is it possible to change this ? thanks

Hello Hans,

Thank you for contacting Luxion Denmark Support.

No this is expected. KeyShot will use all available CPU and GPU to process your scenes.

You can limit the amount of memory used in CPU mode with the CPU dropdown option to reduce the stress on your Harddrive.
